Crescent Moon is a 2D clone of Moonlighter set in Nerw Orleans due to hurricanes, inflation, and creatures from the swamps coming into the city to tear up the neighborhood, the flea market and surrounding area are not doing well. Determined to help their neighborhood, the player must fight in the swamps to both find cheap products to sell and stop the incursions of the creatures .
2022 - 2023 (releasing December 2023)
As a part of IGDA UNO, I worked with other club members to conceptualize, design, and develop a New Orleans-based clone of Moonlighter (after playing and deconstructing the game as a club).
My role in this project consisted of designing, and implementing the User Interface, User experience, HUD, Inventory, Travel, and Health systems. Theme wise I wanted to play around with the New Orleans Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and gold while combining the historic and urban feel of the city that makes it unique.
